A. John Davidson, Partner

John Davidson is a Consultant in the Chicago office. He is a Partner with Lake Forest Executive Search.

Prior to joining Lake Forest Executive Search in 1999, John served as a Consultant with LAI Worldwide, which was later acquired by TMP. He has conducted recruiting assignments in a wide range of industries with a particular focus on the transportation, technology, and industrial manufacturing sectors.

Before entering the executive search business, John’s career included sales and sales management positions at Brunswick Corporation and Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company.

John received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rollins College in 1989. He and his family reside in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Brendon Docherty, Associate Partner

Brendon Docherty is an associate partner in the Chicago office. His background in the private aviation sector includes tenure with AlliedSignal Aerospace/Honeywell, Flight Visions, GE/Garrett Aviation, Flight Options, TAG Aviation and N1 Aviation and extends back to the early 1980’s. He has held the positions of Sales Director, Chief Pilot, VP of Sales & Marketing and President and brings a strong horizontal and vertical understanding of the private aviation sector to Lake Forest Executive Search.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Administration from the University of North Dakota’s esteemed John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences; holds a commercial airplane and glider certificate, instrument and multi-engine ratings and has logged in excess of 8000 flight hours.

A former nationally ranked freestyle snow skier and an avid lifelong sailor, Docherty is a member in good standing of the NBAA (National Business Aircraft Association), the HAI (Helicopter Association International), AEA (Aircraft Electronics Association), AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots’ Association). Docherty, his wife and two sons currently reside in the Chicago area.
