Andrew Nugent, Partner
Andrew Nugent has twelve years of experience in
executive search. He has worked across a wide range of industries
including aviation, technology, manufacturing, and financial services.
His typical recruiting assignment is at the Director, Vice President,
Senior Vice President, and C-Suite level.
Andrew founded Lake Forest Asset Management (recently
renamed Lake Forest Executive Search), in 1999. Clients range across several industries including
airlines; general aviation; consumer packaged goods; automotive
O.E.M.s and suppliers; and technology providers. Lake Forest Asset
Management became a Gow & Partners firm in 2005.
Andrew began his recruiting career with Kensington
International in Oak Brook, IL in 1992 as the firm’s first Associate.
In 1993, he was recruited to Lamalie Amrop International as the
first Associate for the Chicago office. In 1998, he joined Martin
Partners, LLC as a Principal in its search operations and as a
V.P. in its CEOSearch practice.
Prior to Martin Partners, he spent several years
in the private equity arena. Earlier in his career, Andrew worked
for the Great American Insurance Companies and lived in Salt Lake
City, Utah and Albuquerque, New Mexico in its marketing operations.
Andrew was born in Chicago but has lived in the
U.K. and holds dual citizenship. He received his Bachelor of Arts
degree from Northwestern University in 1989 and his M.B.A. in Finance
from the University of Chicago in 1997. His wife, Maryanne, and
their three children reside in Lake Forest, Illinois.
